Hi - I'm Chris Stocking

I'm a marketing leader, strategist, and content marketer with a decade of experience in B2B and nonprofit marketing. Initially wanting to be a novelist and journalist, I also have a creative writing and journalism background.

My marketing approach is to pair creative, emotional storytelling with data-driven decision-making. I believe the best marketing doesn't just reach the audience - it resonates with them and drives them to action.

I've also supported the marketing community by serving on the board of the Rochester chapter of the American Marketing Association. I started as the VP of Content Strategy and Engagement and, a year later, moved up to President. I led a team of marketing professionals to organize educational events and provide resources to help local marketers do their jobs better and stay connected.

When I'm not working on something marketing-related, I enjoy boxing, running, and working out. I also like reading books about neuroscience, how the brain works, human behavior, and the future of humans and society. In the same way that I like learning about the brain and human behavior, I apply that same methodology to marketing, keeping up with trends and trying new tactics to see what does and doesn't work.​

I live in Rochester, NY, with my wife, two kids, two dogs, and three cats (It's a zoo around here). I'm also a lifelong Steelers fan, and yes, it's incredibly frustrating.
